Transfer Gateway

The Alpha Sec. Transfer Gateway is a secure, high-throughput asset transfer system connecting Kaia Layer 1 and Alpha Sec.’s Optimistic Rollup Layer 2. It is purpose-built to support Alpha Sec.’s fully on-chain, orderbook-driven trading infrastructure. Built on a customized rollup framework, the Transfer Gateway ensures verifiable asset movement across layers while preserving decentralization, transparency, and security.

Deposits (Kaia → Alpha Sec. L2)

  • Verification & Finality: When users deposit assets into Alpha Sec., the transaction is confirmed on Kaia Layer 1 and processed by the Transfer Gateway. Deposits are finalized once reflected in the rollup state and included in the sequencer’s canonical chain.
  • Settlement Time: Deposits are generally processed within a minute and reflected immediately in the user’s Alpha Sec. wallet.
  • Supported Assets: The Transfer Gateway currently supports all trading assets available on the Alpha Sec. DEX.

Withdrawals (Alpha Sec. L2 → Kaia)

  • Request & Processing: Users can initiate withdrawals from Alpha Sec. to Kaia Layer 1. Withdrawal requests are submitted to the Transfer Gateway, confirmed within the rollup state, and relayed to Kaia.
  • Fast Finality: Unlike traditional optimistic rollups that enforce a 7-day challenge window, Alpha Sec. leverages Arbitrum’s AnyTrust framework and fast withdrawal mechanisms. This enables near-instant withdrawals while preserving cryptoeconomic security.

Security & Governance

  • Protocol-Verified Logic: The Transfer Gateway operates through audited smart contracts and transparent rollup logic. All transactions are verifiable on-chain, and state transitions can be challenged if invalid.
  • Emergency Controls: In cases of abnormal activity or protocol-level alerts, transfer operations may be temporarily paused to ensure user safety. These controls are governed transparently and will evolve toward greater decentralization.
  • Audits & Monitoring: All gateway contracts are regularly audited. Transaction logs, proofs, and cross-layer messages are openly accessible to maintain trust and accountability.
