DEX Usage
How do I transfer tokens to and from Alpha Sec.?
The Alpha Sec Transfer Gateway is the official mechanism for moving assets between Alpha Sec. and the Kaia network.
- Connect your wallet to Alpha Sec.
- Use the Deposit and Withdraw features of Alpha Sec.
- Alpha Sec. abstracts all bridging logic, no separate interface is required
Assets are transferred securely and verifiably between Kaia and Alpha Sec. through canonical gateway contracts.
Can I send assets from Alpha Sec. to a CEX?
Direct withdrawals from Alpha Sec. to CEXs are not currently supported.
To send assets to a CEX:
- First, withdraw the assets to Kaia mainnet using the Alpha Sec interface
- Then transfer them from your wallet to a CEX that supports KAIA or the relevant token
Do I need to pay gas fees when trading on Alpha Sec. DEX?
No. All trading activity within Alpha Sec. is gasless.
- No gas fees are charged for placing or canceling orders
- No gas is required for trade matching, settlement, or transfers between users
This is different from most Layer 1 DEXs, where every interaction (like submitting an order or canceling it) incurs a transaction fee.
Is Alpha Sec. secure?
Yes. Alpha Sec is built on a custom rollup-inspired architecture designed for both performance and security.
- Transactions are executed on Alpha Sec’s dedicated Layer 2 engine
- State roots are periodically submitted to Kaia network for verification and settlement
- All execution is on-chain and audit-friendly, with no centralized operator dependencies
How can I view my transaction history on Alpha Sec.?
Transaction history can be accessed via the Alpha Sec. Explorer, which includes:
- Transaction logs per wallet
- Trade-level execution records
- Order submission, fill, and cancellation events
- Gasless transaction activity
Explorer functionality is integrated directly into the Alpha Sec. interface.
